Joint replacement surgeries are progressing at an increased rate in the USA, with around 1 million being performed annually. While these orthopedic implants provide a solution for damaged joint, debris such as metal ions generated due to wear and corrosion of prove be considerable risk systemic local toxicity. As effective diagnostic tool, there is need develop patient-friendly, cost-effective, rapid mode ion detection patients various implants. In this study, electrochemical biosensor chip (Dropsens) proposed tool detect through changes impedance. vivo studies were conducted using CoCrMo particles intraarticularly injected into mice. Then, blood was collected on 0th day, 14th 28th day after injection centrifuged obtain serum. The serum subject techniques, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) cyclic voltammetry (CV).
